Dun, dun, dun, dun! Another one bites the dust!

Sorry. You put Freddy Mercury in my head. But there will be dust-biting? Won't there be? Soon? ;)

Love the makeovers, by the way. They all look ... seriously ... *gigglesnort* They all look ridiculous, and it is WONDERFUL!!

Dressing for dinner, by the way, should continue as long as they're alive and able to dress.

Can't wait to see what you do next. Bwahaha!

I never know though until I get them open, that the e-mail my mom is sending me is political. She sends me other assorted bad jokes too.

And I don't really have a problem with the fact that politics are reactionary, as you pointed out there aren't too many better ways to figure out where we're going than by where we've been.

Just that a lot of the people who're whining don't seem to see that the current state of affairs is simply the pendulum swinging the other way from where it's been.

Also, very true on the what's going on around us vs. the promises we're made. I trust politicians promises almost as much as I trust any of my male relatives'...

I try to ignore those e-mails. But that is because I do like Obama.

You have a point, though, about doing something and not just sitting around whining about it.

And maybe politics are a bit reactionary, but, um, how else are we to gauge future success if not by past performance? If we like what the people in office are doing, we allow them (or their party) to stay in office. If not, we vote the bastards out. Or we try to do both. Bush the Younger didn't win the majority vote the first time around, remember. He got in on a technicality.

I mean, we either look at what the politicians do (or what they allow to happen under their watch) or we take them at their word and believe their promises. I don't know about you, but I trust what's going on around me more than I trust anything that comes out of a politician's mouth. Even Obama's.

*nods* Yes.. Yes... Yes...

Not that I watch sports anyway... I'd rather curl up to a cheesy made for tv movie with a bowl of popcorn or ice cream on hand... Mmm... banana split.

Although, it it did turn out that he was sleeping with goats, I might be a little more interested in the story...

I have better things to do with my bloody time than watch professional golf. Who the fuck cares about chasing a little white ball around a big green field with a bent stick? Put some fights in it, a guy just running along and knocking another guy off his feet cause he can and I'll think about watching professional golf.
You can keep your golf. I'll be watching hockey.

"And as when I see him he’s usually wearing a boring white polo and khakis or slacks ..."

Clearly, Andavri, you do not watch enough professional golf. If you did, you would know that Tiger always shows up for the last day of a tournament wearing a RED polo and BLACK slacks.

... Yes, I am ashamed that I know that.

Hey, there's nothing wrong with The Lion King, I like to think of it as adapting Hamlet for a younger audience.

AND Michael is forgetting that Shakespeare might be highbrow now, but when he wrote he was writing as much for the groundlings as for the people in the box seats. Hence the sex jokes (Rosencrantz & Guildenstern's "liv[ing] about [Fortune's] waist, or in the middle of her favors" -- "her privates," they were. For about a minute). Only Disney couldn't include sex jokes and keep a G rating, so they changed them to fart jokes.

SO THERE, MICHAEL!

I won't kill you. (I will, however, think twice about getting a migraine in the near future. ;))

But don't expect me to read any stories that include father/son or in fact ANY incest. You got me to read BOS, and most of Sunspots, but I still have MORALS!
